Well, it was just announced. Check it. (Yes, that is our new pup at the beginning. He’s wiggly.)
I’ve been bad- I said I’m doing a fundraiser and yet told you no goal! Sloppy Mur!
I’m shooting for $1000 for site maintenance, production, and travel to cons (in order to bring you awesome interviews!) And as of right now, I’m at $601! [Wow! Now up to $749!]Halfway done with the month, and [...]
First, if you like, (and honestly, if you use) blank books, this is an incredibly cool blank book project over at Kickstarter- refillable bamboo notebooks. Neil Gaiman posted it on Twitter yesterday and it received a boost, but still needs a little less than $2k to launch, and they have a couple of days [...]
Like most mass-market publishers, Angry Robot only accepts novel proposals from literary agents. This is all set to change in 2011, when Angry Robot opens its doors for the first time to unrepresented authors, everywhere.
The month of March 2011 will be Open Door Month at Angry Robot. The publisher has put together a dedicated [...]
We talked about your brand, and how you can control it. But with social media, and specifically Facebook, sometimes you can’t control it. China Miéville is discovering this, and discovering that Facebook is ignoring his pleas to do something about it.

I’ve been suffering from a wee case of “bitten off more than I can chew” this spring, or perhaps “spinning too many plates,” and am trying to simplify to get some things under control. May is going to be a very busy month for me, with at least one announcement coming soon, and I have [...]
When I was a kid (third grade, maybe? Fourth? Doesn’t matter) our school would have a field day of sports and events at the last day of school. It was great fun. There were four teams, and my team (randomly picked) won one year. Personally, I hadn’t done much to contribute; I was never terribly [...]
