I Should Be Writing is the award-winning writing podcast from Mur Lafferty. It’s a podcast for the wanna-be writer, someone who had always wanted to write but just hadn’t for… whatever reason. Mur’s still a wanna-be, trying to get published long enough to actually have learned something, or, at least, what not to do. The show features a report on Mur keeping herself honest, talk on writing, one or more interviews with a pro writer, and feedback.

The show notes are written with loving detail by Carrie Kei Heim Binas. Patrick Hester is the producer, and John Anealio, Famous Patrick, and Devo Spice did the various theme songs.

Mur is a freelance writer, podcast producer, geek, fangirl and mother. She’s been published in Escape Pod, Hub, and has two books in print (Playing For Keeps and Tricks of the Podcasting Masters.) She is the current editor of Escape Pod magazine.

Mur is represented in the US by Nicole Tourtelot of ICM and internationally by the fine folks at Curtis Brown.
