ISBW Video #12 – The Artist’s Way, Week 2
We are proud to have GoTo Meeting as a sponsor! Get a Free 30-Day Trial!
Some people have asked if they are behind in the Artist’s Way now. No no no no! Go ahead and get your book and get started. We are not going at any fast clipped pace here, mainly cause I can’t get a video up weekly, it seems.

OK . . I am still confused as to whether each week coincides with a chapter, or if everyone is just reading at will. Can someone please clear this up as I have not yet begun reading.
Kind Regards,
Bryan J Zimmerman
Hi Bryan- As I said in the show notes: “Some people have asked if they are behind in the Artist’s Way now. No no no no! Go ahead and get your book and get started. We are not going at any fast clipped pace here, mainly cause I can’t get a video up weekly, it seems.”
We’re sort of in the middle of week 2, but it’s going slowly. Don’t fret, just get started and join us.
TAW question: I wrote a critical review of a book this weekend and posted it on my blog. The author commented on my review (a very positive and funny reply) and this got me thinking about the relationship between critical analysis of other artist’s work and creative recovery. In week one and two we are told that negative feelings towards other artist’s work is a sign of being creatively blocked. For me, voicing my opinions (good or bad) is a form of expression and locking those feelings away is a form of repression – which sounds incredibly uncreative and damaging. What are your thoughts?
