I’d love to to do this Artist’s Way Project Mur, great episode this time!
The jar of awesome sounds like it may be right up my alley.
I would be interested in the Artist’s Way Project. It seems like it will be interesting.
I love The Artist’s Way and would be very interested in taking part in such a community.
Thanks also for Dark Arts: Personal Effects (which I won in the ISBW writing prompt competition) too. I haven’t had a chance to dig into it yet, but I am looking forward to it.
I’ve had the artists way for about 18 months with the intent to get through it. I’d relish the discipline and impetus if you did it. Thanks for a great resource (you podcast).
I also purchased “The Artist’s Way,” but was turned off by the first “god” reference, and never opened it again. After listening to the podcast (I am a new listener thanks to The Creative Penn), you shed some light on this issue which was comforting.
I would LOVE to dive back in and start over, so count me in!
Kind Regards,
Bryan Zimmerman
1) Show notes are over half done, but I’ve been unexpectedly required to do more child care than I thought this weekend, so… yeah.
2) I would TOTALLY do the Artist’s Way with you. I bought it ages ago but never actually followed through. This could be the extra incentive I needed!
I, too, would be interested in doing the Artist’s Way. I’ve done it before, and it’s awesome. I wonder, though, Mur, have you read the other two books in the program? I’ve started the second one, but never finished it.
Also, Jar of Awesome = Win! I’m so going to do this for my 1 Story a Week project.

Count me in for the Artist’s Way project.
I meant to purchase “The Artist’s Way” when you mentioned it a loooong while back, so now you’ve given me more of an excuse. I am also interested in this project!
Your Jar of Awesome idea is brilliant! I’m tempted to create one not just for writing goals, but anything else I want to work on, such as learning the banjo. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve already requested the Artist’s Way from the library so I can participate!
I’d be in for the Artist’s Way project and might be able to talk my wife into it as well.
I’ve been listening to the podcast for about 5 months. And with your encouragement (in part) have started writing at least 4 days a week.
Your thought for running through “The Artist’s Way” is very appealing to me. It would give me one more kick in the pants to keep my writing moving forward.
I’m a fairly new listener and really enjoy the cast. I’d love to join in on the Artist Way group.
Great episode, very timely. The Jar of Awesome sounds exactly like what I need.
Count me in as well. I read The Artist’s Way years ago but stalled out about halfway through. Going through it with a community like this could be helpful and interesting. It’s a great idea.
Mur, I have been listening to your podcast for about a year, and it has recently begun to speak to me with greater intensity. I love the “Jar of Awesome” idea, and as you mentioned it, I thought, “That sounds very Artist’s Way-ish” (I am currently working through my 8th week of TAW). Then I found myself wondering whether there were any TAW podcasts, and then you mentioned working through it on this podcast! That sounds like the very sort of synchronisity that would make Julia Cameron proud. I’m all for it.
I’ve no idea what the Artist’s Way is about, but anything to help increase my craft and productivity. Count me in!
I’d like to join in with “The Artist’s Way” as well! Great episode!
Count me in on the Artist’s Way. I’d love to do something more to improve!
Put me down for the Artist’s way too! I’ve been wanting to do it for a while now, and I’m at the point where I can actually sit down and do it
I am in for Artist’s Way. I was just about to do my third attempt and would love to do it as part of a bigger group.
I’ve already started and I’m on Week 2. Are we all going to do this? How’s it going to work? I keep checking back hoping to hear something but you’re understandable busy so I’ll check again in a week or so!
I am interested in tghe Artist’s Way. Will look for news on how it will happen, here I assume.
I am in for the artist way. Sounds like an interesting experience.
