Junli can see the dust around Sara’s head with perfect clarity. He can zoom in past her face, and see the expression of the person behind her. He can see the pores of her skin, the blood vessels in her eye, the moisture on her lips. He can see how her face changes when you lie, and how pleased she is when she thinks she’s gotten away with something.

Junli can see Sarah’s disdain, plain as her nose.

Junli’s robot eyes were an elective piece of surgery, something that few doctors would do. But Junli found one who scooped out his healthy eyes and replaced them with sophisticated cameras he sees through now. Now, nothing escapes Junli’s sight. Nothing at all.
