For the person looking for collaborative writing tools: Adobe Buzzword is a neat, free, online word processor with collaborative aspects. Create a document, and invite anyone to co-author, review or read. Requires that all parties create an account, but it’s a pretty quick and harmless process. Has most of the things you’ll want out of a word processor: Basic markup, a bunch of fonts, word count, margin and line-height controls, and pdf conversion. Available at http://www.acrobat.com.

Mur mentioned an app called CalText or something like that but I can’t find anything by that name that fits the description via Google. Anyone know the app she is talking about?

As far as online tools goes Google Docs is decent, but when you are used to a nice native Mac word processor trying to use an Ajax or Air replacement is sort of like trying to use MS Paint when you are used to Photoshop. Also the ability to work offline is a must.

We sort of have a system in place already but I am trying to find a more streamlined alternative.

Could it be Celtx maybe? http://celtx.com/
