Return of the jiggle-cam, uncomfortable close-ups, and reminders that the tripod is my friend.

Oh yeah. And take risks.

Thanks for doing these, Mur. Watched this on the TiVo while I ate breakfast (the tripod might be my stomach’s friend too).

Just wanted to say that I loved your impression of the I-love-the-sound-of-my-own-voice-and-think-everyone-else-does-too guy. Your really nailed it. I know that guy. He get’s around.

    Hi Mur,
Thanks for your dedication to the audio and video podcasts. I enjoy both formats.

Regarding the distracting guy at the coffeeshop, sure, someone like that is going to throw you off but man-o-man, what a model for a character in a future piece. Those gifts are all too rare.

    Thanks again,
    Jim

I often get self conscious just writing in a coffee shop (what if someone reads the lame first draft I’m dumping onto my screen?); can’t imagine recording a video podcast in one.

I do wonder what the appeal of working/writing in a public place is. I like it, but I’m not sure why. Most anything I can do in Starbucks I can do at home, drinking much cheaper coffee.

I loved the video podcast. I got a kick out of reading the blurbs across the screen. You are doing a great job, can’t wait to see the next one you come up with.
