Well, I’ve been sleeping a lot since DragonCon. Life has been a constant high since August 25, and that can wear you out. Hence the delay for any new podcasts. If you don’t follow my blog at Murverse, I will sum up some things here:
- I have a signing today in Charlotte, NC at Park Road Books at 2pm.
- I won the Parsec Awards for Best Novella (Wasteland) and Best Novel (Playing For Keeps)!
- Since launching Playing For Keeps in print, I hit #16 in Amazon (and have stayed pretty steadily in the top 10,000 books since). I have been contacted for foreign rights, some other interest, and…
- This week I signed with a literary agent. More on that when I record a podcast.
So things are going well. But I’m moving from being exhausted from the launch and the con, to being exhausted from editing Heaven, which is the novel my agent is going to concentrate on. So I’m pretty busy for the rest of the month.

I finally got my copy of Playing for Keeps (I live in New Zealand, ordered it through Amazon on the 26/08/09, oops, I was a day late, and was too cheap to pay for fast shipping, hence the delay). Oh to have the powers of Keepsie, to never have to worry about loosing a sock when it goes through the wash ever again. Yeah, thats the stuff. Awesome.
