Mur At DragonCon - Photo by natalie Metzger - BY NC NDI Should Be Writing was taped live at DragonCon this year, to a packed room on a Saturday morning. It was low key and friendly and I answered a lot of questions.

Thanks to everyone who has helped keep this show going. It – and my writing career – has gone places I never could have foreseen. Thank you so much.

    Hey Mur,
Just thought I would drop by and congratulate you on your 100th episode of ISBW. The live format worked really well (I don’t know why you were so worried) There were a lot of interesting Q’s and A’s came out of it.

There was one comment you made that made me smile. “The Pink Tornado has magic ears.” Most parents know that feeling – If you ever decide to try children’s fiction, that would have to be your first book.

Keep writing, keep podding you are an inspiration to a lot of people.

    Jeff

    Hi Mur,
Hey, my writing buddies and I have recently launched a website that you and your readers might be interested. Our idea is to give writers another way to get published. Rather than hope that some publisher or agent will see something appealing in your query or go vanity and have to do all your own marketing, we put writer’s submissions before real readers and let then tell us which ones to publish.
We think that by directly connecting writers and readers, writers will make more appealing stories and readers will get the books they really want.
Please take a moment to visit http://www.longtalepress.com and let me know what you think.
    Thanks,
    Gary

In the episode as you were getting the gift for the pink Tornado you mentioned a podcast that I think was called the Ultra Creative. I’ve tried searching for it on iTunes and google but it wasn’t coming up could you post a link to it please.

Thanks and keep up the great show. Although if you could slow down a little it would help me in catching up #:o)
