- Support systems are nice – vital – but at the end of the day, if you don’t have the confidence in yourself, you’ve got nothing. That’s what I’ve been struggling with lately.

Brand new listener here. I think this is the second podcast I’ve heard, and I just wanted to say, wow! Thank you for sharing your struggles. I’m going to keep it on my ipod and listen to it everytime I get too cocky with my writing I think.

Hey Mur! Just listened to this and wanted to add my own praise for “Middlesex”. It’s a fun book to read if you want to study 1st person POV. It goes all over the place–at one point, the narrator sees out of his/her own eyes before being conceived. But somehow it all works. Great book
