I&#039;m pretty sure the idea is that you don&#039;t worry about the fonts and line spacing while composing the document. 

You use the &quot;Compile Manuscript&quot;  feature which lets you set the line-spacing, font, scene break character, header, etc.

This way you can export a courier double spaced for submission, export formatted for POD, etc. all without changing any of your documents.
