Mur,
I have to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your Heaven Series. I listened to Wasteland in about 2.5 days, and it only took that long because I had to go to classes in between work. I have gotten the biggest kick out of your novel and I think you are an awesome writer. I just wanted to let you know. (I also am patiently awaiting the release of the next portion of the novel!) :)

Well, you said that you wanted to here from NaNoWriMoers that got 50,000 words, so here I am.

Last year was my first year doing NaNoWriMo. My parents weren't so thrilled about the idea, because they think that I write too much as it is. But I think that they were secretly proud that I managed to succeed my first year.

I ended up with 50,027 words of crap. There really wasn't a plot, and all of the characters seemed to be exactly the same personality-wise. It was the worst story that I had ever written. But..., it was the story that I learned the most from. I think that it was well worth it, and I'm going to continue to do it again and again.

My school might actually be getting a writing class next year and, if we do get it, I'm going to try to convince the teacher to let the entire class do NaNoWriMo. I think it would be really, really cool, since I was the only one who did it (or even knew what it was) last year.

Anyhow, you're probably tired of my ramblings, so... I'd just like to tell you that I enjoy listening to your podcasts.

Keep on writing!
