ISBW Special #29: John Scalzi Interview
Guest interviewer Christopher Lester cornered journalist, SF author, award winner and blogger John Scalzi at a convention and got this fantastic interview with him. We learn where he got his start, how he doesn’t recommend it for others, and how to be a full time writer.
I’ve been a fan of Scalzi’s blog for some time and have been dying to read his books, so I enjoyed this interview immensley. Hope you do too.

This is really fantastic. John Scalzi is a favorite of mine too. I am loving this series … you’ve got a great voice too. I will have to check out the rest of I SHOULD BE WRITING - it looks like a great resource for people like me.
PS: I think one of your promo links is broken (I think there is an extra period in the url?)
Thanks!

One of the most entertaining author interviews I’ve ever heard.

Great interview! Thanks! John Scalzi is a favorite of mine. I love his style. I really enjoyed “You are not fooling anyone when you bring a laptop in a coffee shop”. His vision of writing, as a job, is becoming a mantra for me.
Thanks again!
…And, I guess I should return to my writing now.
