Writers Talking Ep. 8
I had the honor of being on Episode 8 of Writers Talking with James Patrick Kelly and Matthew Wayne Selznick last Saturday, so with Matt’s permission I’m dropping that show into this feed. Enjoy!
The podcast for wanna-be fiction writers by a writer who’s still learning. Writer Mur Lafferty discusses rejection, cover letters and getting the oomph to keep going.

Can you post the books you recommended toward the end of the show (and the others did as well)?

Great show! I love to hear details of how authors come up with their fictional worlds. :o)

Mur, I’d really like to hear which “personal wiki” you are using as well. I don’t want to have to set up a whole server if I don’t have to, but if all else fails…

Great show - wish i would have known about the live Q & A when it was going on. I’d love to ask not only about what books you read, but any of the software you’ve used in keeping your story organized. I have a couple of different systems for my own writing, but organizing them on the computer is so hard when it’s a series of notes, and every “system” i’ve tried seems to end up more disorganized than if i’d just left it all on paper!
