NaNo Day 2
This morning was a little more difficult than yesterday, although I luckily woke up at 630 again, no alarm needed. My 2K words came a little harder today, although I haven’t run out of plot yet, which is good. I just need lots of time and fast fingers.

I’ve crossed the 5K word mark in two days - but is it good? Maybe. Regardless, I’m having fun and building the habit of writing. My nano-group is going out for Chinese food when we win. There will be time to ponder the relative merits of what we’ve done when we’re done. Like Jesse Ventura in Predator, “I ain’t got time to edit.”

So, two days in a row of 2000+ words. Not bad.
Today I found out one of my characters is a hypochondriac and I met a rival to my protagonist.

I’m sitting at 4564 right now and hope to get 1500 more by days end. I know for a fact if I don’t hit this pace and keep it for the first few days at least I’ll be hating it later.

Hey, Mur…I noticed your Zokutou word meter is on the fritz, too. Have you heard any details as to why the word meter’s off-line?

Per zokuto - their domain might’ve expired. It’s odd, there is practically no info for their domain in whois, other than the company I assumie is their registrar.
Maybe when it came time to renew their domain, they decided they should be writing instead.
Yuk. Yuk. Yuk.

I’m up to 4299 now, plan to shoot for 5000 tonight! Its a challenge, because I started this book without a real clue what it would be about. I don’t know if I’ll make deadline, will have to push harder than this, but even if I don’t, it has gotten me to start writing. And, I think that is the most important thing.
