Couple of notes

Also, I’m aware of the recording difficulties of the iRiver and the mic I’m using and am exploring other options. I’m sorry the AC crispin interview (and, to a lesser extent, the Cory Doctorow interview) was messed up, level-wise.

I apologize if it was me that commented twice, having a few issues with the blogger beta version.
As far as the audio quality of the interviews, don’t worry about it. We all really appreciate the fact that you are able to get these interviews and then are nice enough to share them with us.

You might try using the Levelator from http://www.gigavox.com. It’s free and does an amazing job of evening out uneven levels.
I’ve used it on a couple of projects and it works like magic. Of course, any sufficiently advanced technology…
