Update on me and the show:

Hey all-

Firstly, I want to thank everyone who answered my rant about my 13th rejection. If anything, it shocked me to realize how many people are actually reading this! As I elaborated, it was only my 13th rejection this year, not my 13th for the story or the 13th of my life. I wasn’t even that upset, just wondered if I should trunk this story that I’d written… probably before my kid was born. I’m really not that upset; as I’m always telling you guys, rejection will not kill you.

Next- This week’s podcast will be about workshops and my upcoming trip to Viable Paradise, and next week I’ll post an interview with James Maxey, novelist and graduate of both Orson Scott Card’s Boot Camp and the 6 week Odyssey workshop. Then I will be taking a needed break from work and the Internet for a while. Being away from the Internet means no podcasts, so don’t expect to hear anything from me for a couple of weeks while I am on vacation. Mid October, I’ll hopefully come back to you with at the least information of my experience at VP, and at the most I’ll have some interviews.

Next- Forum moderator and Chronicler of Mur’s Exploits PG Holyfield let me know that the guys at the Harping Monkey are also thinking of doing a NaNoWriMo thingy, so we’re going to get together and see what all our brain cells together can come up with for our listeners. So we’re working on it! Not sure what, but we’re working on it!

Lastly, thanks as always for downloading and subscribing. My subscribers are up and my downloads are up and, most importantly, feedback is up. I love hearing from you guys, and I appreciate all the traffic the ISBW forum is getting.
