ISBW Special #14 - Edmund Schubert Interview
I sat down with writer and editor Ed Schubert at DragonCon and we chatted a bit. A very nice guy, I’m terribly sorry the audio isn’t better.
Ed’s personal site, blog, and Orson Scott Card’s Intergalactic Medicine Show.
[Edit- the very embarrassing "I heavily edit" phone call has been removed. My humblest apologies. 130+ podcasts, you make a mistake now and then...]

Poor Ed, When I interviewed him (and OSC) for my podcast I had audio quality problems too (though I’ve not had a chance to listen to yours yet to know if your audio problems are better or worse than mine). I’m glad you got to interview him though, he is a real nice guy and has some good ideas on story and publishing.

That “I heavily edit” phone call made my day. I started cracking up when I heard it. It felt like inspired comedy. I suppose I can see why you’d remove it, but I enjoyed it.

Are you kidding? The phone call was golden! I figured you left it in on purpose!!

What’s this about a “phone call” that’s been removed? That’s so annoying - I want to know what it was now! Put it back up Mur!

Thanks a lot for the interview. I’ve been considering submitting to OSCIMC
for a while. Good to get an idea of where the editor is at. Also he gave some great advice!
