I really enjoyed the tone of this episode. You're not afraid to be uncertain, contrary, and above all, realistic, and that's more inspiring than most well-meaning pap.

I'm also one of those writers who doesn't write every day -- even though I may feel guilty for it, some days it just doesn't happen. When it does, though... wow.

Good job.

Hey Mur, I was glad to see that you picked up Ray's book. It's short and a quick read. As you said, packed with essays and poems.

My own take on the book was one of wonder. I took some of his advice to heart and I think I came out better for it. As with any book, it's not finding what's wrong or what doesn't work, but coming away feeling that you've learned something (anything) and I'm so glad you put that positive spin on your review.

Pod On!

Here's another one you got to start writing again!
Ok, so I've always kept a blog, but as far as stories I had not written anything for a long time. I found this podcast 2 weeks before Nanowrimo and have been listening to it ever since. Keep up the great work!

I understand what you are saying today about how some times it easy, some times it hard.

For me the first time it became work was the first time I had to really sit down and really do an edit of a story, rewriting parts and cutting others. That was work.

Thanks for doing the PodCast, it's great to have the encouragement. :)
