Man I hate rewriting.
For the record, I did write more words after this podcast, so my wordcount is slightly higher than reported here. We discuss rewriting, the forums, and NaNoWriMo in further detail.
I’m feeling like the show notes are getting repetitive.

NaNo looks like great fun. I missed last year (my daughter arrived mid-november, which kinda put a halt to proceeedings) but am up for it this year!

Yes NaNoWriMo is hard to say, most people just call it Nano. I’ve been doing it for a few years now, and it’s been a good time each year.

I think Steven King said, the first draft is to tell yourself the story…the second draft is to tell everyone else.
The rewrite process for me, on my first novel effort was a bitter sweet thing. Now that i’m onto my second novel, having been through a rewrite, is a *great* comfort.
By the way, love your podcast
